4月18日，第十六届北京国际电影节评委会新闻发布会在北京东坝花园站举行。出席的国际天坛奖评委包括张小飞、加布里埃尔·马斯卡罗、毕赣、朱丽叶·比诺什、陈映红、西蒙·弗兰格伦、张译（从左至右）。本届电影节主竞赛单元“天坛奖”共有来自139个国家和地区的1826部故事片报名，其中国际影片1607部，占比88%。
